Michael Powers who owned the Dorgan Pub on church St. is my husband, Timothy's Great Grandfather; we visited Cloyne in 2005. Your tree includes Powers as well as Murphy's; I would like to know more about them--Richard Murphy married MaryEllen Powers in Cloyne and brought her and her sister Julia to Sharpsburg, PA in 1910.

"When the English ruled Ireland it was illegal to use your Irish name, so all names were ..... Michael owned the famous DORGAN (O'Dargain) Pub in Cloyne, County Cork Church Street"
