Why is it that no one has signed the guestbook in over a few years?
This needs to change. Right now.
Let it be known that Eric the Excellent absolutely LOVES Barfquestion.
Especially Sock, that little rascal, and especially especially the music video for Perform... that video is a true piece of art.

Not sure if you have any kind of fan-art section (honest, I looked) but I thought you might get a kick outta this Supervillain costume I did a while back.
The story goes like this (copy-pasted from facebook), back in 08, I attended my first (and quite possibly last) con, Kumoricon in Portland. One thing I was really getting into was the work of Grey Gerling at BarfQuestion Films (his one-man studio). This is his character, simply called Supervillain.
Originally, I wasn't going to do a costume, but I eventually got the idea to do this one because, when I thought about it, it seemed really easy to make. So...I did. I just thought it would be a fun homage, since I couldn't make any good art or anything.
I started off with a black dress shirt I've had since high school and some dress pants. It took a while to find the right sized box for the head, but I eventually scavenged one. Drawing the face correctly proved to be hard, but that's cos I suck at drawing. I think it came out pretty accurately though. The REALLY hard part was the one I didn't expect. How to balance the thing on my head. After some serious thinking, I came up with the "brilliant" idea to just sew an old hat into the bottom of it with needle and thread. Probably not the best possible idea, but it got the job done well enough.
The worst part came to figuring out the eye-holes. My hat solution didn't really keep it on my head consistently, so that was a problem too. Mostly, I didn't want to ruin the look of the face. I did the two small holes, but that alone wasn't enough. If you look carefully at the top of the mouth, there's a slit carved in the arc. All in all, it could have been better, but it ended up being good enough. Still had to take off my head a lot to see where I was going.
Topped off the whole thing with black shoes, gloves and 2 big BBQ spatulas (a la episode 2) and my costume was complete.
I didn't wear it much at the con, but most people didn't recognize me anyway. Sadly, BQ Films isn't as popular as it should be. But I like to think I sent a few people Grey's way by telling them who I was.
