Just found a 1963 Capri 80 in mint condition, 16,000 genuine miles and all the paperwork, even the original log book, although it has been sorned.... I already have 2 restored Lambretts from 1963 and have also found a 1958 Series 1 Frame breather Lambretta to restore. I am quite looking forward to getting the Capri on the road...

Just found this site, been looking for information and parts for a Capri Super 150. We've had it since 1987, been in 3 boxes for 20yrs, thought it was about time to put it back together.
Biggest problem is lack of exhaust. If anyone has one for sale, or knows of anything else that will fit, please let me know. Nice to know there are other Capri fans around! Thanks Steve & Sue subartlett@btopenworld.com

Hi, just got my first scooter and opted for the Capri Super 125 as I like the idea of something a little rarer than the usual Lamb/Vespa. Not had a total inspection yet but it runs, so I am hoping it's mainly cosmetic, so I'll be asking lots of questions as the project unfolds, cheers

Homepage: http://chrisblakey.fotopic.net Happy memories here. I was reminiscing about my happy younger days and remembered very fondly my Capri 80 red and cream scooter which I bought new at Warners in Guiseley. Only ridden motorbikes before, and rode out of their yard onto the main road and, in front of a bus shelter full of spectators, fell off due to nothing between knees to balance. Miraculaously scooter not marked. For the engine size its performance and comfort were miraculous - it was also very good looking and I had many happy miles on it, often with a passenger which it handled with ease. A tough chassis and a "mature" exhaust note, it was a fabulous machine and if only I'd taken a picture of it Its registration number was 1531 YG - nothing remarkable you may say - but the very day I took delivery of it the Russian Yuri Gagarin shot up into space - only a little more dramatic than MY maiden trip
